I know lots of people love Windows 7 (I'm one of them), but for the sake of security, I would be very reluctant to let Windows 7 into my internet exposed networks. Remember, there are no security updates rolled out anymore. And more and more applications don't work under Windows 7. But the choice is yours. I wish you a nice day, Peter

Hi Peter, Of course, what you say is true, but I currently have no W10 systems here.? I rarely use Windows, but run a Win7 VM on occasion for 2 programs that don't exist natively in Linux.? Being retired, I'm setting this up at home, just to see if I can.? My days in business-environment I.T. are behind me, so I can relax a bit. Shortly, one of the aforementioned Windows apps will no longer run on W7, so I'll be forced to set up a W10 VM.? Still, I'll probably keep the W7 VM just for its version of RSAT with its full support for unix extensions. Thanks.? I appreciate you taking the time to write. Try setting up Teaming and Vlans in Windows 10. Nightmare. --

Broken apps and lemmings...hmmm And how long does your Windows 10 stay up and not blue screen? So how's that Aero desktop w/transparency working on Win 10 these days? Last I heard they still couldn't get it to work in Win10, and uptime...? How often does it reboot these days? Yeah, the choice is yours. MS still pushing for apps to not support win7 -- if they left it like they left WinXP, it'd work for years.>
