samba - Dec 2020 - How does samba work with kerberos?

Hello all,

Trying to make samba work as ad dc I get message Cannot contact any KDC for
realm '...'.
Could anyone explain, how Samba contacts Kerberos KDC? Is it interprocess
communication
or does it use any network service?

You may not have set up the krb5.conf correctly.

Provision generated one in private/ that is a good place to start,
replace or merge that with the one in /etc/krb5.conf
