[Samba] ODP: ODP: Setting up new AD on (k)ubuntu 20.04
As per here: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/samba samba v 4.13.1 was just moved into testing repo for Debian Buster. Not sure how soon they will make it generally available in stable, but typically that's 3-4 months looking at earlier versions. Might just add the testing repo to my apt config on the dc. Would it work with clients on ubuntu sporting version 4.11.6, or do I have to bump the these versions as well to get anything going? Cheers, Chris Debian Package Tracker - samba<https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/samba> 4 important issues: CVE-2020-14318: ; CVE-2020-14323: A null pointer dereference flaw was found in samba's Winbind service in versions before 4.11.15, before 4.12.9 and before 4.13.1.A local user could use this flaw to crash the winbind service causing denial of service.
