Hi, I would like to dump my GPO policies with the following command "samba-tool gpo backup {LONG-ID-NUMBER}" but it didn't work. System details: - Tranquil IT's repo. - Samba version 4.10.12 - CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core) with kernel 3.10.0-1062.12.1.el7.x86_64 Command result: ERROR(<class 'UnicodeDecodeError'>): Error copying GPO from DC - 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xda in position 34: invalid continuation byte ? File "/usr/lib64/python3.6/site-packages/samba/netcmd/gpo.py", line 1050, in run ??? backup_directory_remote_to_local(conn, sharepath, gpodir) ? This looks like https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14004 Sadly while a fix was written and put into Samba master for Samba 4.12, the bug was never assigned to Karolin so didn't get included in our maintenance releases.
