[Samba] HELP: Samba 4 Stand Alone Server - Domain Join - Winbind Failure
I'm trying to setup a server to connect to a samba4 AD controller. I'm following the instructions here to a tee: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_as_a_Domain_Member When I try to restart the winbind service, it fails. The log has the following errors: " Could not fetch our SID - did we join?" "unable to initialize domain list"Is this Is this a kerberos thing? Can't figure out where to start with this.

Never mind. Tracked it down to a kerberos authentication issue due to an expired password. Also didn't realize the realm name has to be in all CAPS when your trying to connect on the command line.
