wbinfo -g will use the winbind cache, so it is possible your new group
will not show up until the cache is refreshed, does 'wbinfo -n
<NEW_GROUP>' show anything ?

You could try running 'net cache flush' immediately after creating a
new group, this will cause wbinfo to go direct to AD the next time you
run 'wbinfo -g'
