It is even easier without sssd, there is only one conf file to
configure for a start.
sssd is a red-hat product and is really aimed at the way they do things
and they have now announced they will never be producing Samba packages
that can be provisioned as an AD DC. I think this will probably mean
that sssd will probably become even more red-hat centred.
If you use sssd, please do not ask here for help, it isn't a Samba
product and isn't supported by Samba.
