samba - Sep 2017 - 'check password script' ignored in AD mode?

I'm trying to play with 'check password script' in AD mode, and
seems
to me that are simply ignored, at least when users logged on windows
clients and (try to) change the password.

I've also noted if i use other tools (eg, samba-tool for example) 'check
password script'
get executed.


I've looked around, and seems that 'check password script' came back
in
4.5, eg:
	https://www.samba.org/samba/history/samba-4.5.0.html

say:

 Password quality plugin support in the AD DC
 --------------------------------------------
 
 The check password script now operates correctly in the AD DC.


And i'm a bit confused. Thanks.

Ahem, sorry... because i've hitted the 'Minimum password age = 1'
trying to change subsequently password, probably i've inadvertitely
done also a:

	samba-tool domain passwordsettings set --complexity=off

and so indeed 'check password script' does not get executed.


Sorry to the list, 'check password script' in samba 4.5 works as
expected.
