samba - Dec 2016 - SMB traverse through DNS servers if the first one fails SYN

What is the expected behavior of smbclient when it does a DNS call, and it
receives a list of servers? It appears to just try one and then fails. Should it
traverse through the list or just do one and done ?  I've search on the web
for an answer, but did not find any relevant posts.
