samba - Aug 2016 - DC with File Server

Gentlemen, 
It is advisable to mount a Samba 4, secondary DC + file server on the same
server?

Samba doesn't recommend doing this, but lots of people just ignore this
and do use a DC as a fileserver.

If you have the capacity to run two DCs and a domain member, then this
is the best thing to do, but if you haven't, then you have make do with
what you have got and this may be using a DC as a fileserver, you just
have to modify the instructions on the Samba wiki, to use them on a DC
when they refer to a domain member.

You could make it a different virtual machine on the same physical server.
