samba - Jun 2016 - Windows client with cups raw printer- is it possible to get ink level or other data from the printer?

Hi!

If you share a printer under windows it is possible that the windows
client gets information such as ink level or paper tray status from the
printer.
With samba I can't accomplish it.
Is it even possible?
