samba - Jul 2015 - samba_dsdb aliases

Hello List,

The "username map =" directive have no effect when using the built in
ldap as backend or the new Samba4 built in LDAP (dsdb). How can I create aliases
with Samba 4 in this case? Do I have to do something inside this built in ldap
server?

I want to create aliases like:

joe_company.com = joe at company.com

I did try this on a samba 3 server with smbpasswd backend and it works there as
it should.

You might be looking for the userPrincipalName.
