samba - Jun 2015 - Samba 4 LDAP supported Controls and Extensions

Hey Folks,

I will teach a mini course on LDAP next week and I'm with the following
question: Is There any documentation that give some details about what LDAP
Controls and Extensions are provided by the Samba 4 Implementation?

I don't know if there is any documentation about controls and extensions but
you can do a simple ldapsearch against your Samba4 LDAP like this:

	ldapsearch -b '' -s base

It will return a list of supportedCapabilities, supportedControl and other 
stuff.

Hi, as samba4 in AD DC mode has to be compatible with Active Directory, 
you might as well as ask 'what LDAP Controls and Extensions are provided 
by Active Directory', a good place to start would be here:
