[Samba] Samb4 built-in ldap backend in standalone server mode !
Is it possible to use Samba4 built-in ldap as passdb backend and idmap backend instead of samdb_dsdb or tdb or others ? I would like to have fully functioning Ldap and store users as their passrows at here but and that Samba4 would act as Standalone server, I don' t need DC. If it is possible, how is ?

Yes , it is possible. This is the way I run in my facility. I have a LDAP servers and several standalone file servers authenticating to this LDAP database. But, despite the fact I still don't have any problems, this is not a recommended setup. Your standalone servers "must" run as DC as well.
