samba - Jan 2012 - join Samba 4 domain using likewise

Any solution to this problem? I have exactly the same error going the other
way (trying to join a Ubuntu workstation to a Windows 2008 domain.

I'm missing some context here.  What exactly fails?

If you are asking about a failure joining likewise to Windows 2008, you
are asking the wrong list, so perhaps you could give more detail as to
which exact Samba versions you are using, and in what roles.
