Hi, we are planning to introduce HSM on our samba servers. Are there any experiences with samba in such an environment? Can samba tell the applications, that a file is offline and it will takes a while for loading it? I can imaging that many applications will crash or run in an timeout if data can not load. So there must to be a communication between samba and application. Right?
