Is it safe to run two versions of Samba on the same machine, each bound to a different interface? Can I share the smbpasswd and MACHINE.SID files? Each version will be installed different places. Why? I would like to configure & test Samba 3.0 on one interface, accessable only by me, and run the stable version on another interface. -Paul
