I think you've got a problem with the adapter-driver. Try to get the newest version for your networkcard from the net... karl -----Urspr?ngliche Nachricht----- Von: Mark A. The connection works happily in windows but I need a DOS-based connection for some older machines. This is a list of what's happening when booting up with step-by-step confirmation: net initialse -> No Errors netbind.com -> Error: 33 Unable to Bind umb.com -> No Errors tcprfc.exe -> Netbind must be executed before TCP/IP module is loaded tinyrfc.exe -> TCP access failure by Tiny RFC...not loaded nmtsr.exe -> No errors emsbfr.exe -> No errors net start -> IPX or NetBIOS must be running in order to load the network services It is obvious that the netbind error seems to be causing most of the rest. I have changed the settings to match those in windows but to no avail. Has anyone got an idea. Regards, Mark __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
