samba - Jan 2002 - Client error after initial installation of Samba

Hello:
Just installed SAMBA and was going through DIAGNOSIS.txt.  I am at test 8.
I am getting the following on the PC in the DOS window:

    c:\ net view \\<systemnamegoeshere>
        System error 53 has occurred.

        The network path was not found.

I have followed all the correction suggestions except the one about the
wrapper.  I don't know how to check that, but I don't think that I am
running wrappers (if I had to guess).

The server is a SUN Blade and the PC is running Win2000.

I would very grateful for suggestions in correcting my problem.
