samba - Jan 2002 - Problems configuring 3.0-alpha1x (sorry, this time with right subject)

Hi,
 
when I try to configure 3.0-alpha1x I allways get a error.
./configure --prefix=/opt/local 
The attached config.log doesn't show me what's wrong. I had to
zip the file because it was to large.
Can anybody help?

gcc version 2.95.3
Solaris8 - 10.00
