Hi all I have one samba server "servimp" and many W2k and W98 stations. servimp is only a printing server. I want to use the possibility of downloadable printer driver from the server, but i have got several problems with W2k. When i want to use a printer which is visible on the net neighboruhood, the W2k stations tell me to install the driver -ok. The driver installer is going to read for driver on the samba server but can't find it and the on the server the log.smbd say: [2002/01/08 13:28:09, 0] smbd/service.c:make_connection(239) poste_127_jacca (192.33.60.127) couldn't find service ::{2227a280-3aea-1069-a 2de-08002b30309d} I made a print$ share, i made the driver dirs with W32X86/2/ and W32X86/3 i put in this directories the driver i found on the W2k clients, i'd test to with drivers from Adobe but it's the same problem If you can help i will be very happy. Thanks a lot and excuse me for my bad english. You can't use the drivers that are on the W2K Workstation CD. At least, this is what I had to do to get the driver download working. -Joe

I'm sorry, but for the moment i can't continu to work on this server, in fact i work on another samba server (this one was configur by another person and i have to solve right problems on this one), but as soon as i can go back on it i'll try your solution and i'll tell you back if it's work fine.
