Problem: We keep getting "Disk or Network Error" when running Access databases on our new Database Server. Server: Dell Poweredge 1500sc server Redhat 7.2 (kernel 2.4.7-10) Samba 2.2.2-8 4 - 18GB SCSI drives with Software Raid Intel integrated 1000tx ethernet (Tried with default and Dell RH7.2 Driver) Client: Dell 4100 with Windows 95 We have a Redhat 7.1 on a different server running the same applications with the same client and have no errors at all. When we first installed 7.2 it had Samba 2.2.1a we were getting oplock and other locking errors. With Samba 2.2.2-8 the oplock errors have gone away, but we're still getting the following locking errors: [2002/01/10 09:06:56, 0] locking/locking.c:delete_fn(252) locking : delete_fn. LOGIC ERROR ! Entry for pid 2076 and it no longer exists ! [2002/01/10 09:15:34, 0] locking/locking.c:delete_fn(252) locking : delete_fn. LOGIC ERROR ! Entry for pid 2094 and it no longer exists ! [2002/01/10 09:15:34, 0] locking/locking.c:delete_fn(252) locking : delete_fn. LOGIC ERROR ! Entry for pid 2094 and it no longer exists ! [2002/01/10 09:15:34, 0] locking/locking.c:delete_fn(252) locking : delete_fn. LOGIC ERROR ! Entry for pid 2094 and it no longer exists ! [2002/01/10 09:20:40, 0] locking/locking.c:delete_fn(252) locking : delete_fn. LOGIC ERROR ! Entry for pid 2162 and it no longer exists ! Whenever the client displays the Disk or Network Error the Samba log reports the above errors. Again other machines running Redhat 7.1 and Samba 2.2.0 are not having these errors. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Brad
