Hello, I have a couple of questions about winbindd. Somebody did ask if there is a possibility to use normal id:s without the DOMAIN part. Is it possible? What I would need is, that only the authentication would be made against a NT-domain. All other information (uid, gid etc..) would be on the unix-machine as normal accounts. Second question, is it possible to use winbindd on a Tru64? It does compile but as there is no nsswitch on Tru64 as they has their own sia-system it looks like one would have to do something special... and then there is of course the lack of pam.... Third question. RH 7.2 is using pam-0.75 and there seems to be differences in the configuration from previous releases. I did try to change to /etc/pam.d/sshd according to the example in the winbindd-doc, but even though I did manage to login as a DOMAin+user, normal logins didn't work anymore. (not nis nor /etc/passwd). Could somebody provide me with an example of a working /etc/pam.d/sshd on RH7.2 with pam-0.75? -- Tony Lindstr?m - System Specialist - Tekla Oyj Koronakatu 1 - 02210 Espoo - Finland http://www.tekla.com - +358-40-7620768
