samba - Dec 2001 - Linux as WINS client, libnss_wins.so.2: nslookup, telnet & rsh fails - only ping works

Hi,

There is a network where a WINS server is running, and all hosts use DHCP.
All windows machines know about each other's names and IP addresses and all
hosts with Samba shares.
