Dear Author, I found that there are problems and cannot found any documents on how to add the ACLS on using the smbcacls command, does i need to add the ACL list before assigned it to the files or directly add them to the files? Please give me a real example, if i have 3 users group, namely a) Administrator group b) Accounting group c) Worker group If I have a folder named accounts How can i assigned the "ACCOUNTS" folder to above 3 groups when a) administrator group have read and write rights b) Accounting group only have write rights, and c)worker group cannot have see the folder "ACCOUNTS" in the drive/ Besides, i also want to ask a question that does i need the password of user when assign a folder's access rights to specific user or just supply the roots' pasasword in order to set the 'SMBCACLS" program?? Thanks for you kind attention, Regards Kevin -------------- next part -------------- HTML attachment scrubbed and removed
