samba - Apr 2001 - Any thoughts on why this would give a null response?

nmblookup -r -A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

I get no response to it ever

Do you get something like this:

Looking up status of xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
No status response (this is not unusual)

Or does it just hang?
