samba - Apr 2001 - Hi Samba team and members.

I am trying to configure Samba 2.2.0 on Solaris 2.6, but when I do ./configure,
I just get this error message:

loading cache ./config.cache
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH

What can I do to fix this problem?

This simply means you don't have a sutable compiler installed on your 
system. Install a compiler on your system.

check for the correct versions of a compiler,
or if there is no compiler. If you don't have one, install
gcc or cc...
