Hi, I am trying to get Winbind compiled but I just can seem to get it - I've tried getting source from TNG and from HEAD, and I've also taken samba-appliance. But they both bomb out when compiling tdb. Which is the most up to date TNG or HEAD ? I downloaded samba-tng-alpha-2.6.tar.gz, ran ./configure and then ran make... here is where it bombs out... I read on the Samba CVS page that the winbind module is maintained through the HEAD cvs branch. So I got that from cvs, and now I craps out with this: Linking nsswitch/pam_winbind.so make: *** No rule to make target 'nsswitch/winbind.po', needed by 'nsswitch/libnss_winbind.so'. Stop. Any ideas ? -----Original Message----- From: Tim Potter [mailto:tpot@samba.org] Sent: 25 April 2001 23:04 To: Tom Horan Cc: 'samba@lists.samba.org' Subject: RE: Help - Compiling Winbind ? I'm not sure about the alpha-2.6 but the current CVS version of winbind in samba tng compiles fine.
