I am trying to upgrade Samba 2.0.7 to 2.2.0 on Redhat 7 using the rpm. Both kpackage and the command line rpm give me multiple errors saying that the files from the 2.2.0 package conflict with the older client and common packages (2.0.7). How do I get around this :-? rpm -Uvh samba-2.2.0xxxx.rpm --force Kinda brutish, but this usually works. I haven't upgraded Samba yet, so take this with a grain of salt. Perhaps we will add an obsoletes line. -- Andrew Bartlett abartlet@pcug.org.au
