RH7.1 isn't really 2.4.1 I think (someone claimed it was 2.4.2-ac12 + 120
extra patches :)
Anyway, what do you mean by disappears? Is it there at first and then
becomes empty or does the mountpoint disappear? Do you get any messages
from the kernel (dmesg).
How do you mount this?
