This is my first post to the list. I am trying to get smbclient to look at a Win98 system. I use the command /usr/bin/smbclient -l log -E -I 192.168.0.4 -N -U chare% -W MSHOME -L //win95 to list the available shares. however, when I do this. I get the following output [chare@vista chare]$ sh /tmp/z2 SSL: Error error setting CA cert locations: error:00000000::lib(0) :func(0) :rea son(0) trying default locations. added interface ip=192.168.0.2 bcast=192.168.0.255 nmask=255.255.255.0 Anonymous login successful Domain=[MSHOME] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 2.0.7] --------- ---- ------- netlogon Disk Network Logon Service www Disk Web Server Home ftp Disk FTP Server Home publishing Disk Publishing Archives tmp Disk Temporary file space u01 Disk u01 Disk u02 Disk u02 Disk IPC$ IPC IPC Service (Samba Server) lp Printer lp0 Printer Server Comment --------- ------- FHARE fhare VISTA Samba Server WIN95 CHRIS HARE Workgroup Master --------- ------- MSHOME VISTA [chare@vista chare]$ First off, what does the error SSL: Error error setting CA cert locations: error:00000000::lib(0) :func(0) :reason(0) mean? Secondly, why does the samba server itself respond, when the quesry is being made to a different machine? Thanks!
