I have two users on my NT network, both with same workgroup, and both users the same administrator. When I run smbsh from the UNIX server (Solaris 7) with administrator as the user and the administrator password, I can see the name of the computer /smb/name, but an ls to his computer returns 'persmiision denied'. he is in the administrator group on his machine. Is there anyway to overide this from UNIX or smbsh (or samba installation options)? Can I use chmod to get to his /smb/name? Another computer can't be seen at all with either smbclient -U% -L localhost or with smbsh commands. In an ideal situation I'd like to have dr-xr-xr-x returned from an ls -ld /smb at the smbsh prompt. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
