Hello,

Works flawless here with OBSD 2.7 and Samba 2.0.6 - this looks
like a browsing/nmbd issue - as ...
> -------[printout from the "smbclient -L localhost"
command]-------
[...]> Domain=[ARBETSGRUPPEN] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 2.0.7]
[...]> Server Comment

... your server should appear here - therefore "a dump question first"
:
- Is nmbd up & running ?
- does nbtstat -A IP-of-OBSD-Box from a win-client produce any output ?
As I assume you've already tested against network problems, check your
/var/log/nmbd. NMBD should've complained if it was not able to become a
master/domain master browser for whatever reason.
Try to solve this problem with a very simple smb.conf, without domain
logons, and once your clients "see" the samba server and can
connect to share, just turn them on back again.
Hope this helps -
Stefan
