samba - Oct 2000 - Samba and Microsoft Active Directory

Are there any plans to integrate Samba with MS Active Directory?

Of course, I would rather use NIS, but I seem to be having my hand forced.   Any
info anyone would have would be great.

Yes, but this is not even in the implementing stage.
If you can convince your NT admins to keep a mixed
mode DC on the network, samba can continue to operate
in domain mode security.
