The samba-bugs@samba.org address for reporting bugs in Samba has been
shutdown. It has been replaced with a new system, please see
http://samba.org/samba-patches/ for details.
We apologise for any disruption this change may cause, it was
necessary due to the volume of mail we were receiving at the
samba-bugs address. We just weren't getting any time for writing code,
instead we were spending all our time helping out individual users.
The new system is as follows:
If you have a bug report or question about Samba then first look in
the FAQ in the documentation section of the Samba website at http://samba.org/
Then if the FAQ doesn't help please post your report on the
Samba mailing list.
If you have a patch for Samba or want to know what patches are pending
then please read the information at http://samba.org/samba-patches/
carefully before submitting your patch.
