I've got Samba working (2.0.7 on Solaris 2.7) and using dhcpd (isc). Everything works fine, however I'm trying to use one domain at home and still be able to use everything at work (so my laptop can zap between the two). As the domains are different, the workgroup is different too (which I had to manually change in the control pannel -> network settings client for MS networks -> identification) so though I can log on to the domain at home, I cant browse etc. As soon as I changed the id to my home workgroup everything worked. Can that be set through dhcp ? Or is there an easier way ?
