samba - Sep 2000 - force group

hi samba team,

i have a share that is configured with force group, however unable to
access share, without explicitly adding the user(s) to the valid
users/write list

my server is running samba2.0.7 on sparc solaris 2.6

please advise, if more information is required, feel free to call me

That's true because force group does NOT mean that a user is 
going to belong to a group in that share but it means that when 
creating a directory or a file. The group of the file/dir is forces of 
what you define.
You HAVE to create a valid user of group in the write list.
Put a @ infront of the to name to tell samba that this is a group 
name.
