Dear all,
We have installed samba2.0.6 on Solaris 2.6. Users can successfully map
their home directory and access the files inside it. But for other file
systems, they can only map the directory but can't view the files in it.
The samba daemon returned the following messages in the log file:
>[2000/09/06 17:13:12, 0] lib/doscalls.c:dos_GetWd(461)
> dos_GetWd: dos_getwd call failed, errno Permission denied
>[2000/09/06 17:13:12, 0] lib/util.c:reduce_name(688)
> couldn't getwd for ./ /public
The smb.conf of /pubilc is:
>[pub]
> comment = pub area
> path = /pub
> password level = 4
> public = no
> writable = no
> printable = no
> wide links = yes
> guest ok = no
> browseable = no
> dont descend = ./etc,./usr,./var,/,/etc,/usr,/var,/proc,/local
> hide dot files = no
Any idea?
Thanks very much in advance.
