A problem with the Network Appliance server using smbmount.
Here at A&M we have a NetApp as our big home drive server. It's using the waffle file system that NetApp created. Well when you try and use smbmount to mount a drive on it. You get garbage. If you do a ls you get ls: : No such file or directory. For the entire drive, So if there is 20 files I get the error 20 times. But if I map a drive on my NT machine I see everything just fine. Has anyone else had experience with a NetApp and trying to use smbmount. Kenneth Oakeson Microcomputer Specialist LAN Systems Support Texas A&M University
