Hi! Probably i found a bug in samba. When i apply Solar patch (http://www.openwall.com/linux/) against BO and tmp races etc. Samba stop working (from 2.05a to 2.07). Here is log: [2000/05/10 19:07:24, 0] locking/shmem_sysv.c:sysv_shm_open(667) Can't create or use IPC area. Error was File exists [2000/05/10 19:07:24, 0] locking/locking.c:locking_init(174) ERROR: Failed to initialise share modes Now about configuration: I have NT4.0 Server working as PDC, a few NT4.0 Workstations and samba server (joined to domain) working as fileserver. Authentication is done by NT server. Samba is working on Debian 2.2 Linux, kernel 2.2.14 with Solar patch. After starting samba you can log from workstation and everything works fine, but after logging out and login again winnt claims "computer is not available", and in logfile you can find errors like above. -- Free Jon Johansen!!
