samba - Apr 2000 - AIX and NT password sync

An update on my problem with NT workstations accessing Samba running on AIX
4.3.2.
    I checked the www.redbooks.ibm.com website, and the IBM manual AIX for
Windows NT: Solutions for Interoperability  SG24-5102-01  states that they
recommend a product called Passync by Suntunix.  I tried to find their website
(www.syntunix.com) and it seems they've gone out of business!
    Does anyone know what happened to the Passync product?  Is it still
available from some other vendor, or under a different name?  I've tried
quite a few search engines, and all references to them are from 1999.

If you have an AIX Support Contract you can call IBM and ask them about the
Passync product.  If IBM has a reference to it in one of their Redbooks,
they are usually good about answering questions with regard to the
information.  Unfortunately this is not a product I have experience with
myself.
