Hello all, I've just compiled samba v2.0.6 using gcc on HP-UX v11.0. I'm configuring it using SWAT. It all looks OK and if I access it using smbclient from the HP system or from my Linux laptop I get a connection. However, if I try to access from an NT4.0SP5 system I get a message saying I'm not authorised or something similar. My system shows up in the Network Neighbourhood but it never accepts my username and password. When this happens, I get this in my log.smb file: [2000/01/12 14:19:05, 0] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(148) Failed to set socket option SO_KEEPALIVE (Error Bad file number) [2000/01/12 14:19:05, 0] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(148) Failed to set socket option TCP_NODELAY (Error Bad file number) [2000/01/12 14:25:50, 0] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(148) Failed to set socket option SO_KEEPALIVE (Error Bad file number) [2000/01/12 14:25:50, 0] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(148) Failed to set socket option TCP_NODELAY (Error Bad file number) [2000/01/12 14:30:06, 0] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(148) Failed to set socket option SO_KEEPALIVE (Error Bad file number) [2000/01/12 14:30:06, 0] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(148) Failed to set socket option TCP_NODELAY (Error Bad file number) Can anybody help?
