I have a network containing an NT server, an NT workstation, a number of
Windows95/98 machines and a Unix machine running Solaris 2.7 and Samba
2.0.4. The Samba machine shows up on all the windows machines and seems to
be working fine from that point of view. However when I use the command
./smbclient -L hostname on the unix machine, the shares on the NT machines
do not show up. The shares on the Win95/98 machines all show up and I have
no problem connecting to them but there is no sign of the shares on either
of the NT machines. Samba does find the NT machines and shows all the
relevant network information (Domain, IP address, PDC etc) - but no shares.
My smb.conf file is shown below. If anyone can help me out, I would really
appreciate it - I am fairly new to Unix so very basic instructions would be
appreciated also.
