samba - Oct 1999 - PDC ability

well, folks, here are two questions that will show that i`m not really up to
date:
1) Can samba act as PDC already?
2) Can samba serve Win2K clients?

Unofficially, this is a 'Yes.'  See the Samba NT Domain 
FAQ linked under the documentation page on the Samba 
site.

For file serving, this would also be a 'Yes'.  If you
mean serving in the sense of a domain controller, this 
would be a 'no'
