samba - Oct 1999 - Registry Patch for Windows 2000 and RPC calls

Hi

I know there is a problem with win2000 and samba.
There is a patch for samba, but I don't have access to patch the samba
server :(

Is there anyway to patch win2000 (somethind in registry maybe??) and get it to
work??
