The domain controller for your Windows Network must create a trusted SAM
account for your Solaris box. You must enter the name of the computer from
the Windows NT DNS Domain Manager. If the name is already in the domain,
then you must remove it and reenter it. This may be necessary if the
signature of the Solaris box has changed, possibly from an OS upgrade.

Subject: Trying to add machine into domain
hi,
I am running Solaris 2.6 and Samba. I am trying to insert this
machine into the domain and i keep getting these errors. This process
seemed to work for all of my other machines except this one? Any ideas?
# ./smbpasswd -j lucent -r linus
cli_net_auth2: Error NT_STATUS_NO_TRUST_SAM_ACCOUNT
cli_nt_setup_creds: auth2 challenge failed
