Password Changing

I am using samba 2.04b with encrypted passwords. Win9X clients can
change their smb password using the  standard Win9X password change
dialog. I want to be able to disable password changing. A small barrier
can be put in users way by disabling password changing at the windows
end by altering the registry. However I want something like the WinNT
server disabling of password changing. Is this possible on
a) all samba accounts
b) selected samba accounts

How is it done?

[Samba]password changing

I'm running a samba server in a win2K environment.  I need the passwords to
get changed automatically on the Unix box when the users change them on the
win2k machine.  I don't want to have to change them twice.  Any ideas?

I believe the dmesg file said the number of open files in the VFS is
exhausted at
4096 files in the kernel.

Can I fix this?  SAMBA have to be able to handle more activity than this?

Maybe the problem is with the RAID?
