Hello all, I have a small samba/SMB related problem... The configuration: A FreeBSD server with 2 network interfaces running samba (version 1.9.18) The server acts as a router and can be seen by win98 clients on both interfaces, that works OK. The problem is that the win98 clients can see the other clients in the same subnet but not the clients in the other subnet, but they want to see the others as well (shared resources, etc...) You can connect to them by typing (in explorer) "\\machine-name" but these people are more of the point-and-click type. So did i miss a small configuration issue somewhere? I have enabled wins on the server and on the win98 clients... Has anyone got some ideas what to do?
