Consulting, Inc., owners of NTBugtraq, are hiring. Our little two person shop here in Lindsay, Ontario, wants to become a little three person shop with the addition of the right person. Considering the cost of technical recruiters, and the obvious availability of talent amongst you, I apologize for this message but it didn't make sense not to send it. The job is located here in Lindsay, Ontario, and no...I can't afford to pay out of province/country relocation expenses, so the vast majority of you won't likely be interested (delete message now). For those of you still reading, here's the scoop; The position is for an Internet Researcher in the area of Microsoft Windows NT. The position will require the individual to research Microsoft Windows NT security issues across the entire Internet. Reviewing and summarizing information from 50+ mailing lists and 100's of web sites dedicated to the topic. The individual will be required to author the reviews/summaries in a professional manner for submission to me in a timely fashion. Although the position requires considerable technical expertise, preference will be shown to those qualified applicants who demonstrate the best ability to gather research information and present it in publishable format. A demonstrated ability in establishing, and following, sound trouble-shooting techniques is also a requirement. *must* have lead administrative experience (1+ years) with; Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server and Workstation Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 Microsoft SQL Server 6.5 or 7.0 Microsoft Internet Information Server 4.0 Outlook '98 (not Outlook Express) Internet Explorer 5.0 *must* have programming experience (1+ years) with; HTML Active Server Pages VBScript Exchange Forms Exchange Rules Minimum 5 years as a Network Administrator in a TCP/IP environment. Must have hands-on hardware trouble-shooting knowledge as this will be part of the job. Education is not a pre-requisite. NTBugtraq values common sense above formal education. The individual will live on email, so should be comfortable with it. The individual will be required to work in the home/office of NTBugtraq in Lindsay (a smoking environment). An opportunity exists for the individual to progress to "work from home" status within the foreseeable future (i.e. 6 months).
