Could someone please explain the following error messages for me (and, hopefully) suggest how to fix them. The box involved is running Linux 2.0.36 and Samba 2.0.3 Running nmblookup -B lxserve __SAMBA__ gives "Warning: inconsistant interface 192.168.1.2 Adding interface p=192.168.1.2 bcast=192.168.1.1 nmask=72.0.0.0 (Netstat and ifconfig outputs look AOK) I am also getting messages saying : [timestamp] libsmb/nmblib.c:send_udp(725) packet send failed to 192.168.1.255(137) ERRNO=Operation not permitted [timestamp] nmbd/nmbd_packets.c:send_netbios_packet(170) end_netbios_packet:send_packet() to IP 192.168.1.255 port 137 failed.
